Staff Physician
Responsibilities
- Perform physical exams and diagnose/treat illnesses
- Manage chronic conditions
- Evaluate and modify therapeutic regimens
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies
- Coordinate and lead educational and training activities
- Conduct rounds in medical and infirmary units
- Ensure compliance with state and federal mandates
- Collaborate with other medical professionals
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Unrestricted license as a physician in Arizona
- Current DEA registration in STATE
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
- BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred)
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse patients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in general medicine
- Knowledge of current medical principles and practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Passes facility’s criminal background check and drug screening
Pay and Schedule
Pay rates range from $120.00 to $137.00 per hour based on shift, site needs, hire status, and experience. Full Time and Part Time positions may be available.
