- Hours and Location: This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. We are located at 2030 Pulliam St. Ste 16, San Angelo, TX 76905.
How You’ll Make An Impact
As a Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll contribute to a community’s well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
- Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
- Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.
What You’ll Bring
Basic Qualifications
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Successful completion of Texas state pharmacy board examination.
- Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) or more years of experience in the practice of pharmacy.
Work Environment And Physical Demands
- This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.
