Staff Pharmacist, Salaried

Essential Functions

• Retrieve, measure, label, and audit prescriptions.
• Aid customers and physicians with prescription and health inquiries according to CS guidelines.
• Offer professional consultations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate billing and dispensing procedures under CMS DMEPOS guidelines, including handling complaints.
• Participate in clinical programs and manage pharmacist-related phone inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure policy and legal compliance.
• Conduct monthly Controlled Substance Inventory (CII) audits and maintain controlled substance records.

Additional Responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions and check patient records.
• Order, stock, and maintain inventory of pharmacy products.
• Train pharmacy technicians and provide performance feedback.
• Manage customer sales register and uphold pharmacy professionalism.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
• Attend training and policy update meetings.
• Maintain standards in management's absence and engage in clinical programs.

Environmental Factors

• Exposure to cleaning and compounding chemicals and bloodborne pathogens.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Doctorate in Pharmacy.
• Licensed Pharmacist with an active state license.
• Successful completion of NAPLEX and State Law exams.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
