Staff Pharmacist Part time
About the role
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist will apply clinical expertise by evaluating and interpreting medication orders, compounding, and dispensing prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional standards. They will identify, prevent, and resolve medication-related issues to ensure safe, effective, and individualized patient care.

Requirements
- ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD)
- Active applicable state pharmacist license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a pharmacist
- Residency training and hospital experience

Pay
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
Schedule
This is a part-time position that will work at least 20 hours per week.

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is the only locally-owned, regional community healthcare system in Lake Charles. It consists of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, a 314-bed acute care facility at Oak Park Boulevard; Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for Women, a 38-bed women's health services facility at Gauthier and Nelson Roads; Moss Memorial Health Clinic on Walters Road for populations in need of primary and specialty care; Archer Institute, a 42-bed behavioral health hospital on Nelson Road; the Memorial Medical Group, our affiliate physician group comprised of over 100 specialists; and Memorial/LSUHSC Family Medicine Residency Program which trains primary care physicians.
