Staff Pharmacist - Part time

Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversight of dispensing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with Virginia regulations and company procedures
• Verification of patient certifications, identification, and required documentation before dispensing
• Reviewing dispensing quantities to ensure they comply with state-established limits
• Providing product information and usage guidance to patients within the scope of the role
• Maintaining accurate dispensing records and ensuring required documentation is completed in all systems
• Supervision of pharmacy technicians, interns, and dispensing staff in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Aid in inventory controls, product handling, and recordkeeping standards
• Assistance with audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews as needed
• Support of workflow, compliance, and daily operations with the dispensary operations manager
• Maintenance of a safe, organized, and compliant dispensing environment

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the Commonwealth of Virginia and in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience in a retail, pharmacy, or regulated dispensing environment preferred
• Strong understanding of applicable state regulations, dispensing requirements, and recordkeeping standards
• Clear and professional communication skills with patients, team members, and leadership
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a regulated environment
