Staff Pharmacist FT, PMEL

Job Purpose and Summary

We are looking for an emerging leader to play a critical role in cultivating a culture of excellence in our pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PMEL), you will build upon your skills and responsibilities as a Staff or District Support Pharmacist and develop additional competencies to become ready for a Pharmacy Manager role. You will complete a self-paced, collaborative training roadmap with both virtual and hands-on learning experiences to prepare you to lead a pharmacy independently.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Staff or District Support Pharmacist
• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Essential Functions

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Attention and Focus: Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: Actively look for ways to help people, and do so in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
• Issue Resolution: Identify challenging patient or colleague interactions and choose the best course of action when faced with multiple options
• Physical Demands: Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
• Express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to work in other locations across the market as business needs require
