Duties/Responsibilities
- Process physician drug orders accurately and promptly.
- Ensure sterile and non-sterile medications are compounded correctly using accepted pharmacy practices.
- Complete pharmacy operations accurately and efficiently, documenting them appropriately.
- Be proficient in all necessary IT systems.
- Evaluate drug orders for appropriateness and make necessary interventions.
- Maintain competence in all relevant clinical activities.
- Lead and direct pharmacy technicians, support personnel, students, and interns to ensure daily operations are completed accurately, timely, appropriately, and efficiently.
- Complete tasks in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Minimum/Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Program in Pharmacy
- Current license to practice Pharmacy in the State of Ohio
- Immunization Certification dependent on area assigned
