Duties/Responsibilities

  • Process physician drug orders accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure sterile and non-sterile medications are compounded correctly using accepted pharmacy practices.
  • Complete pharmacy operations accurately and efficiently, documenting them appropriately.
  • Be proficient in all necessary IT systems.
  • Evaluate drug orders for appropriateness and make necessary interventions.
  • Maintain competence in all relevant clinical activities.
  • Lead and direct pharmacy technicians, support personnel, students, and interns to ensure daily operations are completed accurately, timely, appropriately, and efficiently.
  • Complete tasks in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum/Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accredited Program in Pharmacy
  • Current license to practice Pharmacy in the State of Ohio
  • Immunization Certification dependent on area assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in area of assignment
