Staff Pharmacist

About the role

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart Pharmacy, you will deliver patient-centered pharmaceutical care while working at the top of your license. This role emphasizes direct patient interaction, clinical advocacy, and community engagement in a fast-paced, resource-rich environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and accurately dispense prescription orders.
• Provide counseling to customers on healthcare and prescription medications.
• Administer immunizations and participate in Walmart-developed health programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Model and guide pharmacy staff on customer service best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Active pharmacy license by job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Pay

Annual salary range: $98,000.00 – $172,000.00 (based on a 40-hour work week). Weekly hours may vary; ranges are prorated accordingly. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
