About the role

Thrifty White Pharmacy offers an environment that allows pharmacists and technicians to practice at the top of their license, with a focus on providing value-based care beyond filling prescriptions. Pharmacists spend their time focusing on patient care, including clinical services and disease state management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
  • Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist with enrolling patients.
  • Lead the team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
  • Structure and organize workflow for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services.
  • Deliver clinical services, including Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMR), Targeted Medication Reviews (TMR), Comprehensive Medication Management (CMM), Disease State Management, and Immunizations to optimize medication therapy and improve health outcomes.
  • Develop and follow up on long-term care (LTC) business through communication with nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living residences.
  • Identify Long-Term Care and Specialty business opportunities and communicate them with Marketers.
  • Dispense medications, related supplies, and provide all clinical pharmacy services.

Requirements

  • A pharmacy license, or the ability to receive one without federal sanctions.
  • A PharmD or MTM Certification (must provide a copy of the course completion certificate from an approved ACPE program).
  • Current Immunization Certification.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • NPI Number.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Competitive hours of operation, allowing flexibility to spend more time with family and friends. Closed on all major holidays, which are paid holidays for eligible employees.
