Staff Pharmacist

Description

This position is a temporary assignment. As a contractor, you’ll be employed by Magnit, not The Cigna Group or any subsidiaries of The Cigna Group.

Role Overview

Role Overview: 37427196 Staff Pharmacist
- Mail Order Pharmacy
- Perform final product verification of prescription medications prior to shipment or dispensing.
- Verify correct drug, strength, dosage form, quantity, labeling, packaging, and patient information.
- Ensure prescription fulfillment complies with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Review patient profiles for appropriateness, allergies, duplicate therapy, and potential drug interactions as required.
- Resolve verification discrepancies.
- Maintain accuracy and productivity standards within established turnaround times.
- Report medication errors, near misses, and operational concerns according to company procedures.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and operations teams to optimize workflow.

Education & Licensures

• Registered Pharmacist: Massachusetts (Required)
• PHARMD or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Required)

Pay

Pay Range: USD 48.00 - USD 55.00 Per Hour
