Responsibilities

• Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies to inpatients and outpatients upon receiving written prescription orders.
• Dispenses 750 IV admixtures daily; 2,250 units of medications daily; 200 outpatient prescriptions.
• Assumes responsibility for supervision of pharmacy operations in the absence of the Director or Technician Supervisor, including assistance with the control of ordering, receiving, and storage of all pharmaceuticals within the department and the hospital.
• Responsible for the dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies to inpatients and outpatients upon receiving written prescription orders.
