Staff Pharmacist

About the role

RiteChoice Pharmacy is a fast-growing independent 340B pharmacy that partners with community health centers and providers across Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide fast, friendly, and affordable services to the communities we serve. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized pharmacist who can make our patients feel at home with our pharmacy. Familiarity with the 340B program is a plus, but we will teach you everything you need to know to be successful.

Responsibilities

• Review provider’s prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and legality prior to dispensing pharmaceuticals
• Develop and maintain good relationships with community health center partners
• Develop strong relationships with patients of the community health center by anticipating their needs and providing services in an efficient manner
• Increase health center budgets through appropriate dispensing
• Oversee daily functions of lead and staff technicians and delivery drivers

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Pharmacist experience in retail
• 340B experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues
• Ability to enforce company standard policies and procedures

Schedule

Monday to Friday; no nights; no weekends
