About the role
The Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients, administering immunizations, and supporting health programs. They serve as a community health advocate, building patient relationships and promoting wellness.
Responsibilities
- Process and accurately dispense prescriptions while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Counsel patients on medication use and health needs, ensuring clear communication and patient safety.
- Administer immunizations and participate in health outreach activities.
- Support business operations through inventory management, cost savings, and compliance efforts.
- Lead and guide pharmacy staff on customer service, safety standards, and regulatory adherence.
- Maintain documentation, monitor quality assurance, and ensure adherence to legal and company policies.
- Engage in community involvement and health education initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Active pharmacy license.
- Completion of accredited immunization training.
