Schedule & Location Location: Onsite – Syracuse, NY Schedule Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Why This Role Matters As a Staff Pharmacist, you play a critical role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and timely specialty infusion therapies. Your expertise helps guide medication management, support clinical decision-making, and ensure every prescription is reviewed with accuracy and care. What You'll Do The Staff Pharmacist provides clinical pharmacy services, sterile compounding oversight, and operational support to ensure safe, effective, and compliant patient care. Responsibilities Include Review infusion orders and patient therapies Participate in clinical rounds Perform sterile compounding and TPN review Maintain patient records and care plans Ensure USP and cleanroom compliance Train and support staff Drive operational improvements What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Master of Science in Pharmacy preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New York. Minimum of two years of recent experience in an acute care setting or one year of recent home infusion therapy experience preferred. Experience and strong knowledge base in intravenous admixture services and intravenous therapy. Ability to evaluate and monitor drug therapy relative to the total needs and clinical conditions of home care patients in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective drug therapy. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff. Strong organizational and time management skills. Participation and membership in professional pharmacy societies and organizations preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated dependable attendance and consistent job performance.
