Staff Pharmacist

About the role

A Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including processing prescriptions, counseling patients, administering immunizations, and maintaining confidentiality and documentation. They serve as community health advocates, building strong patient relationships and promoting wellness.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
• Provide patient counseling, support immunization programs, and address health concerns.
• Lead and guide pharmacy staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain safety standards.
• Develop community engagement initiatives and participate in health outreach events.
• Monitor inventory, manage costs, and ensure adherence to compliance, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
• Utilize data and community insights to identify health trends and improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent (NABP FPGE).
• Current pharmacy license.
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
• Strong communication, clinical, and community engagement skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
