About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Full-Time Staff Pharmacist to join our team at AuBurn Pharmacy Long Term Care in Olathe, KS. In this role, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations, provide clinical leadership, and ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to long-term care residents. Our closed-door pharmacy serves local nursing homes, group homes, and similar facilities, focusing on improving patient outcomes and enhancing the healthcare experience.

This is a fast-paced environment requiring high attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The position involves leading our pharmacy into the future and engaging with the community, covering all aspects of a closed-door pharmacy, including immunization clinics, assisted cycle fill, eMAR integration, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and multiple forms of packaging with automation.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care for long-term care residents.
Provide clinical leadership and support to pharmacy staff.
Manage immunization clinics, assisted cycle fill, and eMAR integration.
Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes.
Utilize automation for various packaging needs.
Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as required.

Requirements

Pharmacy degree and active pharmacist license.
Experience in long-term care (LTC) and/or familiarity with FrameworkLTC or QS1 software preferred.
Strong multitasking, customer service, and supervisory skills.
Outgoing, assertive, and detail-oriented personality.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling options available:

Three 12-hour shifts per week, or
Four 10-hour shifts per week.

Rotating on-call and weekend shifts are required.
