Staff Pharmacist ($30,000 Sign-on Bonus)

Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
- Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs while maintaining confidential information.
- Maintain controlled medication and required documentation in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
- Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
- Understand the business, including inventory control, cost savings for patients, and compliance.
- Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches to resolve concerns successfully.
- Use tools, data, and personal conversations to understand community health concerns and stay updated on emergent health issues.
- Create a culture of patient care safety and accuracy, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Ensure counseling and information related to health services are provided as required by practice or state regulations, including appropriate documentation.
- Analyze and identify areas for improvement in patient safety and implement intervention steps.
- Promote reporting and transparency of errors, whether actual or perceived by patients.
- Write timely and effective plans of action focused on root cause correction.
- Foster an environment centered on health care compliance execution, including training and guiding associates on compliance initiatives.
- Implement and monitor compliance initiatives, ensuring operational execution of billing procedures, HIPAA compliance, and SOP adherence.
- Utilize auditing processes to identify compliance issues and implement improvement processes.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to support business solutions and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.
- Model, enforce, and provide direction on customer service approaches and company policies, including ethics and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00 - $172,000.00 for a 40-hour workweek. Weekly scheduled hours are determined individually, and ranges for different scheduled hours are prorated based on the percentage of 40 hours. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
