About the role

We are seeking a Forensic Accountant at the Staff or Senior level with 1-5 years of public accounting experience. This role can be based anywhere in Texas. Engagements primarily involve working with commercial property insurers to evaluate physical damage and business income losses from catastrophes. Projects may include reviewing historical financial data, revenue and expense projections, insurance claim evaluations, and economic damage assessments across diverse industries, from small retail stores to multinational entities.

Requirements

• Bachelor or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred but not required
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed (approximately 10-15%)

Pay

Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $75,000 and $110,000, with additional incentive and bonus opportunities for exceptional performance.
