Staff Nurse - Part-Time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a recovery-oriented residential setting for individuals with serious mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Administering and monitoring medications, including injections and assisting residents with self-administration
• Conducting health assessments and coordinating medical care with the interdisciplinary team
• Providing direct services such as assistance with personal hygiene and daily living tasks
• Leading educational, social, and leisure activities aligned with recovery goals
• Participating in treatment team meetings, quality improvement, and crisis reporting
• Ensuring compliance with safety, documentation, and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED required; BS in Nursing preferred
• Current nursing license required
• 1–2 years of mental health or related experience preferred
• Strong observational skills, patience, and ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation required; forensic experience is a plus

Pay

This part-time role offers a competitive hourly wage.

Schedule

Flexible shifts, including weekends.
