About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team. Whether you’re a seasoned nurse or just starting your journey (new grads welcome!), this part-time position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in a mission-driven environment.

Schedule

• Evenings: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Two days per week
• Every other weekend

Pay

• LPN: Starting at $29/hour, based on date of licensure
• RN: Starting at $33/hour, based on date of licensure

Responsibilities

• Institute appropriate nursing interventions to assist with a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.
• Perform resident rounds to assess physical and emotional status, implementing any required nursing interventions.
• Respond to resident and family concerns, ensuring each concern is documented and a resolution is initiated or communicated to appropriate staff.
• Coordinate admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications when given.
• Ensure the nurse on duty is informed of all previous shift reports and keep charge nurse and other staff members updated on resident statuses.
• Consult with licensed or registered nurses, physicians, or licensed independent practitioners when appropriate.
• Clarify any order or treatment regimen believed to be inaccurate, ineffective, or contraindicated by consulting with the appropriate licensed provider.
• All other duties as assigned and/or appropriate to the position.

Requirements

• Graduate from an Ohio Board of Nursing approved nursing program or school of nursing.
• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Ohio.
• CPR certified.
• Genuine passion for nursing and a heart for serving others.
