Staff Nurse - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Perform hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments with a focus on patient safety and comfort
• Assess and monitor patients throughout therapy to ensure optimal care
• Manage dialysis equipment, adhering to safety and infection prevention standards
• Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment processes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary nephrology team to coordinate care
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare setting

Qualifications

Current nursing license with relevant dialysis or nephrology experience preferred

• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Knowledge of dialysis equipment, safety protocols, and infection control
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a team and in a fast-paced environment
