Responsibilities

  • Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care for Dermatology patients.
  • Deliver high standards of nursing care, supporting the delivery of Outpatient services between University Hospitals Crosshouse and Ayr.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, including supervising and providing mentorship to students and junior staff.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Working knowledge of organisational policies and procedures.
  • Able to keep skills and knowledge up-to-date and documented.
  • Motivated, organized, with excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrating evidence of continuing professional development.

Qualifications

Knowledge, training, and/or experience required for this post as a Staff Nurse within Dermatology:

  • Be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Have working knowledge of the Organisational policies and Procedures.
  • Have the ability to keep relevant skills/knowledge updated and documented.
  • Be a motivated, organized individual with excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to Dermatology.
  • Able to supervise and provide a mentorship role to students and junior staff.
  • Have a commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development.

Skills
