Staff Nurse

Role: Provides nursing care and staff guidance in a pediatric clinical setting, supporting physicians and promoting efficient, high-quality care. Mentors and precepts new staff, assesses clinical competency, and participates in staff evaluations.Performs patient assessments, advocates for children's health, and fosters positive interactions with families and the community.Collaborates on staff education, discharge planning, and consults as directed, ensuring comprehensive patient care.Demonstrates leadership, strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.Works effectively with various organizational levels and promotes teamwork to deliver exceptional service. Qualifications & Skills BSN degree required; must obtain within 5 years if not already held.Current BLS certification and valid Ohio RN license with Multistate License within 90 days.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred; pediatric ambulatory care experience is a plus.Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC) preferred. Other requirements: Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and leadership qualities essential for success in this role.
