About the role
Make an Impact! Working Every Other Weekend as a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department will offer you the experience of collaborating with an interdisciplinary team within the unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their Patient Experience. As a Registered Nurse, you would be caring for an emergent patient population.
Responsibilities
- Care for an emergent patient population
- Attend MLH Education & Development Classes to help achieve personal and professional goals
- Engage by joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program
Requirements
- 3 year(s) of recent Emergency Nurse experience
- RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required
