Staff Networking Engineer

Please Note- This role is only for the people who are authorised to work in the US REMOTE IN UNITED STATES Position Summary: We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team working on our cloud-native product suite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, be aware of cloud-native technologies, and have have a willingness to learn new technologies. Roles and Responsibilities:Contribute to the development of cloud native products and services for our Kubernetes product ecosystem.Support Cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.Learn and collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap. Preferred Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.Excellent programming skills in a major programming language. Python or Golang is preferred.6-15 years of experience in a software development role.Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes is a plus.Prior experience with OpenStack/DevStack is also a plus.Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals with willingness to learn and build products in the cloud computing and virtualisation space.Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.Strong knowledge and exposure in networking protocols is desirableStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.
