Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Gen AI | Voice & Speech

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Design and develop ML infrastructure and tooling to enhance user experiences
• Build platforms enabling AI integration into customer-facing products
• Translate product goals into actionable engineering plans for scalable services
• Consult with teams on the data lifecycle and common ML patterns
• Mentor and elevate technical standards across teams
• Shape company-wide engineering standards for excellence and reliability
• Monitor technological advances and lead initiatives to stay ahead

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Machine Learning or AI, focusing on audio and voice GenAI solutions at scale
• Demonstrable experience building and deploying ML-driven B2B multi-tenant applications for external products
• Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture for high-transaction and data environments
• Strong background in scalable data stores, both relational and NoSQL
• Operational experience with cloud-native infrastructure on GCP or AWS, including Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code

Pay

$160,000 – $190,000 annually
