Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy semantic matching and ranking models for multimodal content
• Build representation learning systems to enhance content understanding
• Develop scalable architectures for search and recommendation systems
• Train and optimize machine learning models using large datasets
• Create evaluation frameworks and metrics to assess model performance
• Collaborate with research and product teams to implement innovative solutions
• Manage the ML system lifecycle from development to deployment

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in building and deploying production machine learning systems
• Experience in developing scalable retrieval, recommendation, ranking, or semantic matching systems
• Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques, including representation and metric learning
• Familiarity with multimodal models like LLMs and vision-language models
• Proficiency in Python and experience building ML services infrastructure
• Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• MS or PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience
