Staff IT Technical Program Manager

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Staff IT Technical Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead cross-functional program execution for information governance and eDiscovery initiatives, with a strong focus on compliance, risk management, and operational readiness. You will partner closely with engineering and other internal stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical controls, improve platform capabilities, and strengthen audit preparedness. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical program management expertise, governance knowledge, and the ability to build scalable processes in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the strategy and execution of eDiscovery and information governance across business functions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance eDiscovery capabilities from hold to production
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable configurations and policies
• Manage program timelines, dependencies, and risk escalations while ensuring audit readiness
• Create and validate comprehensive test plans for eDiscovery controls and tools

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, information governance, eDiscovery, or regulatory compliance
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional compliance programs in dynamic settings
• Familiarity with the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and eDiscovery tools like Relativity, Nuix, and Google Vault
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into system controls across collaboration platforms
• Ability to construct strategic roadmaps and work independently with minimal guidance
• Skilled in responsible use of generative AI to optimize workflow efficiency

Compensation: $148,835 – $175,100 annually
