Staff Environmental Engineer

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

• Conducting environmental site assessments
• Oversight of test borings and monitoring wells installation
• Aquifer testing and environmental sampling
• Environmental compliance and permitting
• Assisting senior engineers with site remedies design
• Data management and analysis
• Report preparation and technical presentations
• Soliciting bids from subcontractors
• Coordinating work and providing technical oversight
• Reviewing invoices and work proposals
• Collaboration with various team leads
• Supporting proposal development and cost estimate development

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering (M.S. preferred)
• 0 to 3 years of progressive experience in the environmental field
• Hands-on experience in groundwater modeling, field investigation methods, and analytics
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• GIS and database management platforms proficiency (a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn new analytical methods and tools
• Ability to work in inclement conditions year-round
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Experience with and/or willingness to learn GINT, GIS, CAD, and 3D visualization software
• 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification
