Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering planning activities, schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple teams.
- Track progress against agreed plans and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Identify, monitor, and help manage project dependencies, risks, issues, and actions.
- Facilitate engineering meetings, reviews, planning sessions, and cross-functional coordination activities.
- Maintain project documentation, reporting dashboards, action logs, and operational records.
- Support engineering leaders with resource planning, prioritization activities, and workload visibility.
- Drive follow-up actions to ensure commitments are completed and blockers are escalated appropriately.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to improve communication and information flow.
- Aid in the implementation and continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Produce clear and concise reports, presentations, and communications for engineering and business audiences.
- Cookordination activities across geographically distributed teams to support efficient execution.
- Contribute to operational excellence initiatives that improve predictability, efficiency, and delivery outcomes.
Requirements
Essential:
- 10 years experience coordinating complex technical, engineering, programme, or operational activities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience tracking actions, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive progress without direct authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience using project management, planning, reporting, or collaboration tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Proactive approach to identifying improvements and resolving coordination challenges.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting engineering, software, hardware, semiconductor, or technology-focused organisations.
- Knowledge of project, programme, or portfolio management methodologies.
- Experience creating executive-level reporting and operational dashboards.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar delivery frameworks.
- Experience coordinating activities across international or distributed teams.
- Understanding of engineering product development lifecycles.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects and programs.
- Experience in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Strong understanding of engineering product development lifecycles.
