Staff Engineer - West Palm Beach

This vast list of project experience includes services for virtually every type of public and private client associated with industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide range of geotechnical engineering, construction material testing/quality control, and environmental assessment projects
• Conduct field and laboratory testing, conduct geotechnical analyses, develop design and construction recommendations, write reports, and perform site reconnaissance
• Supervise field and laboratory testing, including installation of augercast piles, helical piers, ground modification, driven piles, vibration monitoring, etc.
• Write certification reports for these activities to be reviewed and signed by a Professional Engineer (PE)
• Learn and work on geotechnical engineering projects (drilling coordination, soil classification, report preparation, foundation design, etc.)
• Work on environmental assessments (Phase I and Phase II assessments)

Requirements

• Technically superior
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with relevant coursework and achieved Engineering Intern (EI) status
• A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering specializing in geotechnical engineering is a plus

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with relevant coursework and achieved Engineering Intern (EI) status
• A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering specializing in geotechnical engineering is a plus

Skills

• Technical proficiency in geotechnical engineering and construction material testing/quality control
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
