Staff Engineer (Platform)

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure service architectures for high-quality applications
• Identify and implement platform-wide improvements and new services
• Build backend services using C# or TypeScript
• Deploy and manage services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Optimize cloud infrastructure, focusing on reliability and performance
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
• Integrate third-party APIs while ensuring robust monitoring practices

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with distributed systems expertise
• Proficiency in functional programming languages like C#, Haskell, or Scala
• Strong background in SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
• Proven capability in application and infrastructure security best practices
• Demonstrated mentorship skills to elevate team performance
