Staff Engineer I - GRC
What You'll Do
As an IT Staff Engineer I, you will support and enhance the organization’s Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC) technology platforms, applying strong mid-level engineering expertise. You will identify development and support needs, contribute to solution design, and support project delivery while facilitating collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate is an outcome-focused technologist with a strong data and engineering mindset who promotes teamwork and effective communication. Independently manage assigned workstreams from concept through completion with minimal supervision.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of development and/or implementation experience for enterprise applications in Java, Java Script frameworks (VueJS/React), SQL, PostgreSQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing and supporting Governance, Risk, and Controls platforms.
- Familiarity with IT security, data privacy, and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, and CI/CD or DevOps toolchains preferred.
- Knowledge of GRC frameworks such as COSO, ISO 31000, NIST, or similar preferred.
- Hands-on experience configuring and customizing GRC platforms (e.g., SAI360, RSA Archer, SAP GRC) preferred.
- Knowledge of ETL concepts and large-scale data integration across systems preferred.
- Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy preferred.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
- May require up to 25% travel.
