Staff Engineer, Frontend - Domains Growth

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop features that enhance the Squarespace platform.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Squarespace’s flexible work policies and practices.
• Support the creation and maintenance of user-friendly interfaces and tools for creators.
• Participate in agile development cycles and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in software development or a related field.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly.

Qualifications

Skills

• Frontend development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Backend development skills (Node.js, Python, Ruby)
• Database management (SQL)
• AWS or similar cloud services experience
• Agile development experience
• Experience with version control systems (Git)

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Schedule
