Responsibilities

  • Partner with facilities and site teams to enhance manufacturing capabilities through innovative fab design solutions.
  • Orchestrate the transition from 2D to 3D CAD systems across U.S. sites, advancing layout planning technologies.
  • Cook up global performance metrics and author comprehensive documentation for standard operating procedures and best-known methods.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and industry experts to gather benchmarking insights and drive strategic performance enhancements.
  • Work multi-functionally to deliver tactical support and optimize layout designs for exceptional space utilization.
  • Identify and implement high-impact layout strategies to maintain competitive advantage on a global scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong focus on fab layout, industrial engineering, or closely related subject areas.
  • 5+ years experience Greenfield and Brownfield fab design while improving production tool space density.
  • 5+ years experience using Autodesk AutoCAD within a semiconductor environment.
  • 3+ years of experience resolving sophisticated challenges through collaboration across multi-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong focus on fab layout, industrial engineering, or closely related subject areas.
  • 7+ using Navisworks, Inventor, and Revit within a semiconductor environment.
  • 5+ years' experience direct people management or as a lead engineer in semiconductor environment.

Skills

  • Strong technical skills in CAD systems and layout planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Experience with project management and strategic planning.
