Staff Engineer/Assistant Project Manager

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

About the role

The successful candidate will support Construction Services Project Managers with construction materials testing projects, including assisting with proposal preparation, project coordination, and communication with clients and design professionals. The Assistant Project Manager will help coordinate and monitor field activities, including supporting field technicians and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project documentation
• Compile data and prepare reports
• Track project progress
• Help maintain schedules and budgets
• Visit project sites to observe work being performed
• Support troubleshooting efforts under the guidance of senior staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Geology, or a related field
• Recent graduates looking to work in the construction or civil engineering industry are encouraged to apply
• Relevant internship or coursework in construction materials testing or inspection is a plus
