Staff Engineer, AI-Assisted Engineering Practices

Responsibilities

• Apply AI-assisted development techniques to real-world engineering challenges
• Collaborate with product engineers and DevOps to integrate AI-driven workflows into systems
• Develop reusable services, SDKs, and frameworks to scale AI adoption
• Partner with teams on high-impact projects to showcase AI benefits
• Mentor engineers on using AI responsibly and effectively
• Contribute to the strategy for AI integration in engineering practices
• Lead initiatives to modernize codebases and enhance performance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with technical leadership roles
• Strong coding skills in complex production systems
• Expertise in backend (Node.js, Kotlin, Java, Python, Go), frontend (React, TypeScript, Next.js), or mobile (React Native, Swift, Kotlin/Android)
• Demonstrated success with AI tools for engineering productivity (e.g., code generation, automated testing)
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proven ability to elevate standards in design, code quality, and operations
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
