About the role
The engineer Electronics will be responsible for developing and executing the program. Responsibilities include managing program requirements, ensuring supplier compliance with program and AV design, test, document and Avionics Weapons subsystems hardware requirements, collaborating with subcontract engineers and stakeholders, implementing subsystem performance and environmental requirements, and developing design solutions for obsolete hardware.
Responsibilities
- Performing and executing Statement of Work (SOW) as a Responsible Engineer (RE) for Radar Avionics Subsystem(s)
- Managing program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with program and AV design
- Ensuring test, document and Avionics Weapons subsystems hardware requirements are met
- Collaborating with Subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements
- Developing design solutions for obsolete hardware
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master’s degree in a (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. (STEM) AND 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related engineering experience.
Skills
- Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems

Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $144,900.00 - $217,300.00
