Staff Electrical Test Engineer

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field.

- 3 to 5 years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.

- Experience with common electrical test equipment and sensors.

- Strong automation scripting, data analysis and file processing skills.

- Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • - Experience working with automated equipment within a thermal testing environment, ideally within the aerospace or automotive industry.
  • - Proficiency in Python.
  • - Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar software.
  • - Strong understanding of system-level testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • - Executing work orders to support system-level electrical validation.
  • - Configuring avionics systems for testing within thermal and vibration environmental test chambers.
  • - Reviewing and processing data collected from test systems.
  • - Reporting test findings using standardized documentation and reporting methods.
  • - Identifying and reporting non-conformance issues related to test systems and units under test.
  • - Writing and maintaining Python automation scripts to support data acquisition, test execution, and post-processing activities.
  • - Troubleshooting and resolving issues involving electrical systems and data acquisition systems during testing.
