About the role
Detail-oriented, reliable, and creative team player to conduct field evaluations of new and existing electrical power distribution systems. Review, analyze, calculate, and design for new or rehabilitated infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead field and technical evaluations of existing electrical power distribution systems
- Develop calculations, repair drawings, and repair/replacement recommendations, specifications, and scope of work packages
- Attend client technical meetings and field walk-downs
- Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnaround projects
- Develop constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development
- Power Distribution (Medium and Low Voltage) for Industrial Plants
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure
- Experience leading small teams and working with other disciplines
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering codes; Arc Flash experience preferred
- Physical mobility (on the ground and at heights)
- Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off platforms/scaffolding/ladders using required fall protection
- Ability to work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather, steel-toed work boots)
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Willingness to adhere to client-specific site requirements, including random drug testing and facial hair safety policies

Pay
$110,000 - $150,000 annually. The pay range represents a general guideline; actual base salary considers factors such as depth of experience, skill set, certifications, specific work location, and current market conditions. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus and/or other incentive compensation plans.
