We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Development Director to join our team at Rancho Springs Memory Care in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our community by providing leadership, guidance, and support to our employees.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Recruitment Process is fulfilled:
- Post open positions
- Assist supervisors with screening and interviewing
- Communicate with Human Resources and candidates
- Lead New Employee Orientation (NEO) process
- Follow up with new hires and ensure training success
- Prepare and submit community payroll:
- Ensure Paylocity system is up to date
- Manage benefits enrollment
- Review Missed Punches and notify Human Resources
- Prepare Final Pay for exiting employees
- Lead Community Employee Retention Efforts:
- Review GPTW Action Plan and action of the day with leadership
- Lead Employee Appreciation / Wellness Program
- Facilitate team building activities
- Encourage employee participation in culture building events
- Prepare and maintain Personnel Files:
- Coordinate and prepare New Hire Documentation
- Ensure employee training is current and up to date
- Maintain employee status changes and documentation
- Assist with employee investigations
- Maintain Employee Files in an organized manner
- Manage Community Worker's Comp Claims:
- Serve as a point person for Workers Comp process
- Report injury occurrences
- Conduct or organize investigations
- Follow up with Injured Worker and Human Resources
- Lead Leave of Absences Process and other Employee Relations Concerns:
- Report ADA requests to Human Resources
- Notify Home Office of Leave of Absence situations
- Work with HR to document and assist employee with request
- Serve as a point person to employees with questions related to Human Resources policies
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in related capacity
- Associate's degree or combination of educational classes is highly preferred
- Experience in Human Resources and/or training is highly preferred
- Payroll experience is required
- Criminal record clearance or criminal record exemption, as required by law
Pay
$65,000 - $75,000 annually
