Staff Development Coordinator (SDC)

About the Role

AdviniaCare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as a Staff Development Coordinator and Infection Preventionist. This role ensures the highest quality of care and services to residents while promoting a culture of nursing and clinical excellence, with a strong focus on infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of staff competencies and annual training
• Conduct in-services, audits, and education to promote best practices within the facility
• Assist with the orientation of all new employees
• Serve as an example of best practices within the facility

Requirements

• RN preferred; LPN considered
• Active license in good standing in the state of MA
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with physicians, residents, and family members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional care and services, with a focus on quality and patient satisfaction
