SDC Position Summary As the Staff Development Coordinator at Decatur Wellness & Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include: Participate in the completion of facility assessments determining the knowledge and skills required amongst staff to meet resident needs.Plan, schedule, conduct and oversee educational training as well as routine in-services for all staff.Review and update education routinely to reflect the most current guidelines associated to company policy and/or federal guidelines associated with long-term care.Assist with evaluating competencies and maintain all records and reports of trainings and evaluations.Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing and/or the Administrator.Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
