Staff Developer Advocate, Enterprise

About the role

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $190,000 – $240,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to deliver firsthand technical enablement through the company DevDays program
• Prepare and conduct hands-on labs and architectural workshops tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective engagement outcomes
• Contribute to the shared library of sample applications and lab exercises
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions where necessary
• Host regular office hours for enterprise teams seeking guidance
• Deliver webinars on complex enterprise-related topics
• Speak at and attend industry conferences to represent the company

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with an emphasis on distributed systems
• Proficiency in the company SDK languages such as Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript
• Experience leading technical workshops or enablement sessions for senior engineers
• Direct engagement experience with enterprise engineering organizations
• Mentoring experience, both formal and informal
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, domestically and internationally
