Staff Dentist

Essential Job Duties

• Manages patient dental care including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Records and maintains appropriate documentation on patient clinical records.
• Affords assistance in the establishment of appropriate fee schedule, expense budgets, and program plans.
• Affords assistance in the supervision of dental support personnel.
• Participates in GLBHC’s Quality Assurance activities as needed.

Marginal Job Duties

• Assists in marketing and public relations of the dental program, including recruitment of providers as needed.
• Assists in interviewing of job candidates, training, and evaluation of dental support personnel.
• Performs other functions relating to the GLBHC Dental Program as may be required.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Dental Officer or President/CEO.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Dental School.
• Possess DDS or DMD.
• Certified and licensed by the State Board of Dentistry in Michigan.
• 1-2 years in underserved area preferred.
