About the role
This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop measurement frameworks and metrics for data-driven decisions
- Communicate recommendations to product and engineering leadership regarding Notifications strategy
- Perform opportunity sizing and write actionable analyses for growth improvements
- Act as a thought partner to prioritize and scope projects with ML and product teams
- Contribute to improving machine learning models for notification delivery
- Mentor other data scientists and ensure high-quality outputs from the team
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on user products through A/B testing
Qualifications
- 8+ years of combined post-graduate academic and industry experience with web-scale data
- Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and experimentation
- Expertise in a scripting language such as Python or R
- Proficiency in SQL/Hive
- Strong business acumen with a knack for shaping vague questions into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional leadership and data storytelling
- Experience leading technical projects and influencing team outcomes
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Pay
$164,695 – $339,078 annually
