Your Role at Pura
You will play a critical role in building and maintaining predictive models to power Pura's product, business intelligence, and decision-making. You will be responsible for prototyping and then building production-ready models that can be integrated into Pura’s software systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field
- Expert SQL and Python proficiency
- Strong background in causal inference statistics
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks and experimental design
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (we use BigQuery)
- Experience building batch-style inference workflows
- Experience with containerization and Infrastructure as Code
- Track record of leveraging LLMs to streamline exploration, iteration, and communication of data-driven insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and reliability
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with real-time or near-real-time inference systems
- Familiarity with streaming data processing technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka)
- Experience applying data science to molecular or chemical data
