Berwick Academy, a PK-12 day school in South Berwick, Maine, seeks a full-time school custodian to assist with maintaining the facilities.

About the role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the school's facilities, ensuring they are safe and ready for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all school areas
• Clean restrooms, classrooms, common areas, and other facilities
• Assist with janitorial tasks as needed
• Ensure safety and security of the school premises

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in custodial work preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Good physical condition

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills
