Staff Controls Engineer

What To Expect The Cell Facilities team is looking for a highly motivated Staff Controls Engineer to work on a critical challenge facing the world’s energy transition to sustainable energy. Sustaining, operating, and optimizing our newest battery manufacturing facility. As a Staff Controls Engineer, you will work closely with the design team, construction & commissioning team, supporting projects from concept through design, programming, HMI development, installation, integration, ramp up, and long-term operations, sustainability & operations. This person should be open to travel up to 40% of the time. What You'll Do Lead the control system architecture design including the integration of HMI, SCADA, PLC, VFDs, safety PLCs, and 3rd party packaged equipmentLead the development of greenfield PLC code with an emphasis on generating code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable and reusable.
