Our mission is to fix the broken clinical-stage biopharma model by in-licensing clinical-stage therapeutic assets and developing them through Lindus Health’s integrated, technology-first clinical trial infrastructure. We’re building on a proven foundation that has delivered 82% of sponsor trials on or ahead of timeline across 40+ completed trials in the US and Europe. We’re in-licensing 5-7 clinical-stage, typically Phase-2-ready assets, funded directly from Lindus Health’s balance sheet, with first trials launching in H1 2027.

About the role

We're looking for a Staff Biostatistician to be the senior technical authority on statistics at Lindus Therapeutics. This is a senior individual contributor role covering the full lifecycle of a drug asset: reviewing the evidence behind a potential acquisition, shaping trial design from the first draft of a protocol, owning the analyses that decide whether a programme moves forward, and representing that work directly to regulators.

This role is critical because Lindus Therapeutics operates on a portfolio model, in-licensing several clinical-stage assets simultaneously, each carrying real acquisition, design, and regulatory risk. You will own the statistical judgment across multiple programmes, preventing bottlenecks and ensuring timely, high-stakes decisions. You’ll tackle the most complex trials (adaptive designs, novel endpoints, multi-cohort studies), set standards for the team, and serve as the go-to authority for decisions that must withstand scrutiny.

You’ll collaborate closely with Clinical Operations, Data Architecture, Regulatory, and Corporate Development leadership, shaping decisions upstream on any individual trial or acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Asset acquisition diligence: Lead the statistical assessment on asset acquisitions and deliver the final statistical verdict that informs the decision.
  • Trial design leadership: Set the standard for trial design across the portfolio, leading design of the most complex trials and reviewing others' designs for structural risk.
  • High-stakes analysis & regulatory representation: Own the interim and final analyses with the greatest scientific, safety, or business consequence, including direct board-facing responsibility. Serve as the senior statistical authority in regulatory interactions, authoring and defending the statistical case in briefing books, submissions, and agency meetings.
  • Standards & mentorship: Build the statistical standards, templates, and SOPs the rest of the team works from, lead their adoption, and mentor other statisticians as the biostatistics function grows.

Requirements

  • High agency and a bias for action, with genuine passion for transforming how new health treatments are developed.
  • PhD or Master's in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field, with 9+ years in clinical biostatistics, including preparing statistical content for an FDA submission (IND, NDA, or BLA).
  • Experience leading statistical strategy across multiple trials independently, including complex or adaptive designs, and fluency in R or SAS while directing others' programming work.
  • Experience leading interim analyses with material go/no-go or safety consequences and representing statistical positions directly to regulators.
  • A trusted, credible statistical voice with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Corporate Development leadership, shaping decisions upstream on any given trial.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, plus meaningful stock options.
  • 27 days annual leave in addition to 11 National Holidays.
  • Health insurance coverage through our PEO Trinet.
  • $40 monthly wellness allowance for a Wellhub membership or other wellness activities.
  • Enhanced Parental Leave: 16 weeks full pay for primary caregiver and 6 weeks full pay for secondary caregiver.
  • $2,000 Learning and Development allowance each year for courses, certifications, and development.
  • Regular whole company and team events, both in-person and virtually.
  • Access to gym and retail discounts through our benefits platform Happl.
  • Monthly lunch voucher for remote teams.
  • Charity events and fundraising opportunities through our partnership with the Forward Trust.
